Quality assurance or QA is a process that is applied to ensure that a product meets the specific requirements that it is supposed to meet. This sets a standard for creating trustworthy and dependable products. By applying QA processes the reputation of a company is enhanced and builds trust with its customers, in our case children, parents and schools.
Genius Kidz products are subjected to two levels of Quality Assurance, first at the trainer’s level and second at the children’s level. This ensures that the basic objective of our products is kept in focus throughout the training and subsequent teaching.
The full impact of Kidz Abacus training on children's learning skills will be realized when trainers follow all instructions diligently and ensure regular practice using proper fingering, both in class and at home. QA processes help ensure these practices are followed.
At Genius Kidz we believe that quality control at the beginning of implementation will go a long way in ensuring that the products meet the specific requirements for which they were developed. The Quality assurance of our products is done starting at the beginning as detailed below :
We ensure that the trainers are always up to date with the concepts through their frequent interactions with Master Trainers.
We conduct scheduled evaluation and upgradation of all trainers with reference to our products and methods.
Trainers are frequently evaluated for their product knowledge, methods of mentoring and enthusiasm levels respectively.
Master Trainers regularly conduct mock classes handled by trainers to fine tune their mentoring skills.
Trainers collect constant feedback from parents, franchisees and schools and based on that we constantly enhance the value of the product and the training methods.
The trainers are Certified to teach only after they are put through the above steps rigorously and complete all training requirements satisfactorily.
The process described above ensures that the Trainers always have the required knowledge of the product and follow diligently every step prescribed in the manuals to always impart quality training. This objective will be achieved only by ensuring quality implementation at every stage of the training.
Keeping in view of the objective of improving learning skills in children, Genius Kidz has a very well drafted process of training them based on our KAT and Vedic Math Curriculum . As noted earlier, the quality of a product is assured only when the product meets the specific requirement for which it was developed. To ensure this, certification of children is done only when the following criteria are met:
Children are thorough in all the physical aspects of abacus.
Once they are comfortable with the physical aspects of abacus they are introduced to numbers.
The children will be familiarized with the layout of our books as that plays an important role in their practice.
This stage is the most crucial stage as it determines the effectiveness of training and learning. All our products give importance to practice as practice makes one perfect. The children are taught the concepts, checked for their understanding and made to calculate sums based on the concept using abacus and practice regularly.
Once the class is over and they are back home they COMPULSORILY solve ALL the PRACTICE AT HOME A FEW SUMS EVERYDAY and take the signature of a parent in the book.
Children are made to solve the EXTRA SUMS given in the book compulsorily to improve their knowledge of concepts and fine tune their fingering techniques.
This very rigorous process is repeated for ALL KAT products at ALL LEVELS irrespective of concepts and complexity.
Children are certified at every level after satisfying the requirement of each level. They will be assessed for concept understanding, accuracy, speed of calculations and correct fingering.
Certificates for completing a level will be issued once children get the requisite marks after evaluation and assessment.
